Setting Up a Projector
- Step 1- Make sure that both, the projector and your video source (either dvd player or computer) are turned off.
- Step 2- If you are setting up a projector to a dvd player, plug a single rca cable into the input on the back of the projector that says composite, and connect the other end of the cable to the video out on the back of the dvd player.
- Step 3- Ensure that the power cord and signal cable are securely connected. Then turn on the lamp by pressing "power/standby" button the control panel.
- Step 4-Turn on your source(computer, notebook, dvd player). The projector will detect your source automatically.
- Step 5- When powering down a projector, press the power button once, then press it again. Wait for the projector to properly power down before removing the power cord. Removing the power cord and moving the projector before the projector has properly powered down may break the bulb. The light will turn red and then blink green when it has properly been powered down.
